Launching just ahead of the festivities, the special-edition retro runner honors the island nation’s heritage by pulling visual inspiration directly from an original version of the Puerto Rican flag.
Taking a thoughtful approach to the design, the Shox R4 acts as a striking canvas for the celebration. The sneaker is cast in a soft Glacier Blue shade across the upper, referencing the original Grito de Lares flag drafted by Puerto Rican exiles in New York City in 1895.
