Following the announcement last week confirming nine new colorways for the Air Jordan 39, the Jumpman team now provides an official look at one of the new variants: the “Lumiere.”
The “Lumiere” boasts a reverse palette of the “Sol” colorway that was released earlier in the week, arriving in the same embroidered textile upper, smooth suede panels and a PU tongue decked with a repeat textured pattern that appears to be based off the globe symbol.
Predominantly doused in black, the sneaker’s colorway draws inspiration from Paris, evoking the night-time atmosphere of the City of Light. The emblematic Jumpman logo illuminates the tongue in a contrasting white hue, echoing the tonal accents on the tip and laterals.
As previously announced, the sneaker is fitted with highly responsive Nike ZoomX foam that offers an astounding 85% energy return. All of this sits atop a herringbone traction outsole in a translucent look.
Starting July 27, the Air Jordan 39 “Lumiere” will be available through select Jordan Brand retailers, while a wider release through Nike will take place from August 6.
