Lacoste to Release a ‘One Piece’ Capsule Collection
Featuring the manga’s chapter 1106 cover illustration.
Lacoste is gearing up to release a One Piece capsule collection starring Eiichiro Oda’s iconic manga art on a range of wardrobe staples.
A total of 7 pieces have been revealed, consisting of hoodies, T-shirts, a polo shirt, socks and a cap. Many of the styles are emblazoned with a playful black-and-white crocodile graphic that nods to Lacoste’s logo. This specific design was based on a T-shirt design as seen on the One Piece manga’s chapter 1106’s cover page.
On the original cover page, a towering crocodile figure is depicted in a white T-shirt sporting a crocodile motif and “LACOSTA” letting. For this official collaboration, the words have been tweaked to fully pay homage to Lacoste’s name and emblematic branding.
While some of the pieces feature Oda’s spin on the crocodile motif, many of the styles are decked with a large monochrome imprint of chapter 1106’s cover page illustration.
Priced from ¥3,300 – ¥33,000 JPY (approx. $22 – $216 USD), the One Piece collection will initially be released on Lacoste’s website on August 2 and via select Lacoste stores starting August 6. Releasing in limited numbers, the hoodie, socks and the cap will be dropping as Japan exclusives.
