Update: It’s been two months since Stefon Diggs and ASICS revealed their collaborative GEL-NIMBUS 10.1 “From: Me To: You” colorway. Limited to a mere 250 pairs, the shoe was expected to remain an F&F-exclusive, however, KITH has just announced that it’s dropping a batch of pairs tomorrow. A KITH-exclusive drawing has opened on the KITH App, which will allow lucky winners to purchase the sneaker at a price of $195 USD via the KITH Manhattan store, with raffle results posted tomorrow, August 29, at 1pm EDT. The brand has also shared that all proceeds will be donated to It’s From The Sole, a non-profit based in NYC that provides sneakers to families in need.
Original Story: Stefon Diggs, who is an NFL wide receiver for the Houston Texans, has officially announced his first signature shoe with ASICS. The upcoming collaboration sees him debut his signature shoe on the ASICS GEL-NIMBUS 10.1.
Taking to Instagram to make the announcement, the football player released the first campaign imagery of the shoe with a caption that reads, “This moment for me is truly special, I have to give a huge shoutout to @asics for allowing me to truly express myself with my first signature shoe. This just feels right on many levels, designing my own shoe was truly gratifying. I really leaned in on family and my brothers being my biggest motivators growing up. FROM : ME
TO: YOU.”
The shoe takes on a simple colorway, mostly dressed in white, black and grey. Constructed out of mesh, the ASICS branding on the medial is highlighted in black, over an gridded graphic throughout the shoe. The shoe features a pink iridescent heel counter to match the eyelets on the tongue while the tongue label and inner lining complement one another in yellow. Silver overlays accent the shoe as it sits atop a black outsole.
Look out for the official release date of the upcoming collaboration soon. It is uncertain at the time of writing if these are a friends and family iteration.
