'MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics' Releases Next Week

Update: Announced just months ago, MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics is nearly here. The compilation of seven iconic titles is set to make its digital version debut next week on September 12 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 (with PlayStation 5 compatibility) and Steam. From there, the project will be made available via a physical version on November 22. Original Story: Marvel and Capcom are resurrecting a number of classic video game titles with the release of MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics.

Set to release this year for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam, the collection includes a total of seven timeless games: X-Men: Children of the Atom, Marvel Super Heroes, Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of the Superheroes, Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes, Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, X-Men vs. Streetfighter and The Punisher. All of the titles will include a number of new and enhanced features, including online play, global high score leaderboards, training modes, spectator mode, a music jukebox, in-game Museum, new display filters and more.
