Girard-Perregaux and Saint Laurent Reunite for a Second Casquette Timepiece

Since joining forces a year ago on a redesigned Casquette digital timepiece, Girard-Perregaux and Saint Laurent Rive Droite continue their partnership with a sequel offering: the Casquette 2.0 Saint Laurent 02.

In 2022, Girard-Perregaux launched the first revival of this distinctive timepiece. Simply dubbed the Casquette 2.0, it was presented in a ceramic and titanium materiality and geared with a brand-new movement. Last year, the Casquette 2.0 Saint-Laurent 01 was released as a collaboration with the fashion house. It featured a similar appearance and build to the previous Casquette 2.0 but was subtly redesigned by Saint Laurent’s creative director, Anthony Vaccarello.

Now arriving in a silver-gray hue, the new Casquette 2.0 Saint Laurent 02 boasts a sleek and high-tech appearance that nods to one of the three 1976 OG Casquette watches, which were released as a trilogy and offered in Makrolon, Steel and Gold Plated Steel.

Despite its stainless-steel-like coloration, the reference is crafted entirely of titanium from case to bracelet. Beating as its heart is the GP3980-1474 quartz movement, which provides power to read time, day, date, month, year, chronograph, and second-time zone on top of a secret date function.

A limited-edition of 200 units, the Casquette 2.0 Saint Laurent 02  has a price point of $7,500 USD and is selling exclusively via the Saint Laurent Rive Droite online store as well as Saint Laurent’s boutiques in Paris and LA.
