Built By Legends has introduced a reimagined 2024 version of the iconic Nissan R34 Skyline GT-R, now available in the U.S. for the first time, with a price tag of $450,000 USD.

Following the expiration of the Imported Vehicle Safety Compliance Act, American enthusiasts can now access a car previously unavailable in the U.S. Built By Legends CEO Masaharu Kuji emphasized their mission to provide high-quality restorations and modern upgrades to classic Skylines — with this specific example boasting a 650 hp MINE’S MB7 engine.

Each R34 GT-R undergoes meticulous restoration in partnership with Japanese specialist Garage Yoshida. The process includes comprehensive chassis reinforcement, powder coating over 150 parts and advanced treatments for durability. The car features a Getrag six-speed transmission, MINE’S VX-ROM ECU system and a race-ready AP Racing braking system. The suspension is upgraded with Aragosta Type S sport suspension and aerodynamics are enhanced with dry carbon components.

Inside, the R34 GT-R combines vintage aesthetics with modern comfort, featuring restored original seats in black Fuji Ultrasuede fabric, a MINE’S D-Shape steering wheel and Daiko sound and heat reduction sheets for a quieter ride.

Notably, Built By Legends offers a range of services, from minor restorations to complete rebuilds, with commissions starting at $450,000, excluding the donor car. Each build takes less than 12 months and the company provides worldwide shipment.
