Ulysse Nardin Unveils New Sustainable and Tactical Dive Watch Capsule
Namely the Diver Net OPS and the Diver X Skeleton OPS, both featuring conscious materials.
Ulysse Nardin has launched two new models that combine cutting-edge technology with eco-conscious materials: the Diver Net OPS and the Diver X Skeleton OPS.
The Diver Net OPS, a high-performance timepiece, exemplifies Ulysse Nardin’s dedication to environmental responsibility. This model features a 44 mm case made from 95 percent recycled stainless steel and a combination of Nylo (upcycled fishing nets) and Carbonium (upcycled carbon fibers) for the side parts and case back.
Carbonium, also used in aircraft construction, provides a unique marbling effect on the unidirectional rotating bezel. The sandblasted khaki green dial includes a power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock and a small seconds display at 6 o’clock, with Super-Luminova markings that glow green in low light. The Diver Net OPS is powered by the automatic manufacture calibre UN-118, offering a 60-hour power reserve and a balance spring made of silicon. This model is water-resistant up to 300 meters and comes with either a fabric strap made partly from upcycled fishing nets or a khaki green rubber strap.
The Diver X Skeleton OPS is an avant-garde reinterpretation of a dive watch, showcasing Ulysse Nardin’s exceptional skeletonized automatic movement, the UN-372. This 44 mm watch features a sleek black DLC-coated titanium case, a concave Carbonium rotating bezel, and a barrel cover at 12 o’clock, extending the mottled aesthetic into the heart of the watch. The dial is dominated by a large skeleton X structure, enhancing its modern design. The Diver X Skeleton OPS is water-resistant up to 200 meters and also includes a khaki green fabric strap or a khaki green rubber strap.
Both models reflect the watchmaker’s commitment to innovation and sustainability, blending adventurous style with eco-conscious materials. The Diver Net OPS is priced at 13,300 USD, while the Diver X Skeleton OPS is available for 27,500 USD via Ulysse Nardin’s official site.
