Ulysse Nardin debuts Blast Moonstruck Rose Gold, limited to 20 pieces, priced at $116,000 USD.

It features five astronomical indications and a 3D Earth display; powered by the silicon-equipped Calibre UN-106.

Ulysse Nardin has unveiled the Blast Moonstruck Limited Edition in rose gold, a highly sophisticated astronomical timepiece limited to just 20 pieces. Rooted in the pioneering celestial vision of Dr. Ludwig Oechslin, who created the manufacture’s legendary Trilogy of Time and the original 2009 Moonstruck, the new timepiece presents a geocentric representation of the Earth, Sun and Moon.

Housed in a 45mm case combining an 18k rose gold upper case with a black DLC-treated titanium case middle and bezel, the Blast Moonstruck displays five interconnected astronomical indications across a three-dimensional display: a high-precision moonphase accurate for 40.3 years, the days of the lunar month, tidal coefficients, a worldtimer and the real-time positions of the Sun and Moon around the globe. At the center sits a three-dimensional representation of the Northern Hemisphere, engraved on the underside of a domed sapphire glass box, suspended over a shimmering black aventurine dial that mimics a star-filled night sky.

Powering the timepiece is the in-house automatic Manufacture Calibre UN-106, consisting of 338 components and 42 jewels, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a 50-hour power reserve. The movement utilizes silicon technology – specifically a silicon escapement and hairspring produced in-house by SIGATEC – providing anti-magnetic durability and eliminating the need for lubrication.

Designed for everyday practicality, it incorporates Ulysse Nardin’s patented time-setting mechanism, enabling the wearer to adjust local time in one-hour increments forward or backward via dedicated case-side pushers without disrupting the underlying astronomical calculations. Priced at $116,000 USD, the Blast Moonstruck comes fitted with a black alligator strap and a black DLC-treated titanium and rose gold folding clasp. Head over to the brand’s official website for more details regarding its availability.
