Sexyy Red Brings the Heat on 'In Sexyy We Trust'

Sexyy Red is staking her claim on summer 2024 with a red-hot mixtape In Sexyy We Trust.
The rapper surprised fans yesterday when she took to Instagram to announce the project, executive producer by her partner in club music, Tay Keith and his label Drumatized. Other featured artists on the album – which totals 14 tracks and clocks in at just over a half-hour – include Drake, Lil Baby, Mike WiLL Made-It, and VonOff1700. In Sexyy We Trust is the Southern princess’ third studio project, arriving less than a year after Hood Hottest Princess.
“Get It Sexyy” lands as the album’s sixth track, with Drake’s appearance on “U My Everything” also marking another standout point. The Boy delivers his verse over the infamous “BBL Drizzy” beat, spitting “Red, girl, I love you, let’s do it / Showed enough love to the city, I promise, so let’s get the f*ck out St. Louis / Maybe we go to Saint Lucia, I been there, so I’ll introduce you / Or maybe you go to Saint Martin with me if these n****s take break and quit startin’ with me.”
With strong cosigns from Keith and Drake (she was also recently seen hanging out with Lana Del Rey), Red’s wonderfully “ratchet” run continues, and it doesn’t look like it’s stopping any time soon.
