NOMOS Glashütte introduces the Tangente 38 date – “175 Years Watchmaking Glashütte” collection at the annual Geneva edition of Watches and Wonders. Featuring the iconic Tangente model in 31 color editions, each colorway is limited to 175 pieces. This vibrant array marks a bold evolution of the classic design, marrying the brand’s commitment to precision with a rich palette that celebrates diversity and individuality.
The color palette of this collection ranges from the spirited Sportbunt, reminiscent of the lively ’70s fashion and Olympic fervor, to the sophisticated Schlossgrün, which evokes the serene elegance of walled gardens and antique interiors. Each colorway carries a unique name and story, inviting wearers to find a piece that resonates with their personal style and mood.

At the heart of these timepieces is the DUW 4101 caliber, a testament to NOMOS’ horological expertise. This hand-wound movement is not only a marvel of engineering, featuring the proprietary NOMOS swing system, but it also boasts an innovative date mechanism. The date ring surrounds the movement, allowing for a large, easily legible date window at the dial’s edge, perfectly integrating functionality with the watch’s aesthetic.
