PORTER Taps COMME des GARÇONS For TANKER's 40th Anniversary

COMME des GARÇONS has joined hands with PORTER on the imprint’s TANKER series. As TANKER enters its 40th year, PORTER enlisted Rei Kawakubo‘s fashion imprint to serve up a capsule of helmet backs to commemorate the milestone.

Kawakubo designed the helmet bags herself, which land in three different sizes – medium, small and extra small – and two different colorways of black and grey. Bags are crafted from nylon – with a nylon taffeta back – and see two pockets next to each other.

The helmet bags are also equipped with a hanging orange removable pouch, drenched in a striking orange hue and enveloped in large CDG lettering.

As for the interior, bags are lined with the same all-over orange coloring with CDG’s lettering. A bevy of pockets and compartments are implemented on the interior as well. An orange drawstring bag also comes with the helmet bag.

Expect the COMME des GARÇONS x PORTER capsule to release for purchase on Friday, April 12 at the below PORTER stores as well as at Yoshida Kaban’s official online store and the COMME des GARÇONS Trading Museum.
