At Watches and Wonders 2026, Bremont signals a bold new era of horological exploration by officially launching its “Space” product universe with the introduction of the Supernova collection. Under the leadership of CEO Davide Cerrato, the brand has strategically pivoted from its British aviation roots toward a more cohesive, global luxury tool-watch identity. Guided by the mantra “Take It Further,” Bremont’s latest mission literally reaches for the stars through a landmark partnership with American aerospace company Astrolab.
Supernova Chronograph
The Supernova Chronograph stands as Bremont’s most ambitious technical expression to date, serving as the first reference in a collection that will soon become the first British watch to reach – and stay on – the Moon. Integrated into the chassis of Astrolab’s FLIP (FLEX Lunar Innovation Platform) rover via a custom-engineered tile plate, the timepiece is scheduled to land at the lunar south pole in summer 2026. To survive the brutal conditions of the lunar environment, the watch has undergone Spacecraft Protoflight Qualification testing, exceeding expected mission conditions to validate its structural, thermal, and electrical performance.
Aesthetically, the 41mm timepiece features a futuristic angular design inspired by spacecraft geometry. Crafted from high-lustre 904L stainless steel, the case utilizes a complex sandwich-style architecture echoing Bremont’s signature “Trip-Tick” concept. It is crowned by an imposing ten-sided (decagonal) black ceramic bezel with vertically brushed top surfaces and highly polished scalloped edges.
The three-dimensional dial features a 12-sided black galvanic perforated grid – resembling solar arrays- set over a full layer of blue Super-LumiNova that creates a vivid glow in low-light conditions. At its heart beats the chronometer-rated Calibre BC77 (based on the Sellita SW500), upgraded with a Glucydur balance wheel and Anachron balance spring to provide a 62-hour power reserve. The Supernova Chronograph retails at $9,802 USD for the integrated bracelet version and $8,849 USD on rubber strap.
Altitude Chronograph Pulsograph Valjoux 23
Expanding on the successful 62GS-inspired case designs and aviation blueprints from last year, Bremont has now introduced the Altitude Chronograph Pulsograph Valjoux 23 — a technical, serious hand-wound limited edition that marries heritage soul with contemporary titanium strength. This 40-piece masterclass in “hybridization of codes” centers on a rare collection of “New Old Stock” Valjoux 23 movements, sourced and hand-finished in collaboration with the renowned high-horology atelier Chronode.
The movement, a slim column-wheel engine produced between 1916 and 1974, is celebrated for its sinuous Y-shaped bridge and sinuous architecture, now visible through an exhibition case back and regulated to Bremont’s exacting standards.
The watch wears its vintage convictions on a warm Salmon-pink dial, a shade synonymous with the great sporting chronographs of the 1930s and ‘40s. This heritage palette is given depth through a vertically brushed center dial and a grained surrounding track that houses a peripheral pulsometer scale, once a vital tool for doctors measuring human heartbeats. Housed in a 42mm brushed titanium “Trip-Tick” case with an economical depth of 12.52mm, the timepiece remains unmistakably modern in its execution while paying homage to the golden era of the wrist chronograph. The Altitude Chronograph Pulsograph Valjoux 23 is limited to 40 pieces and featires a price tag of the $33,967 USD.
