The Nike Air Max 1 Joins The "Athletic Department"
Fitted with an aged midsole.
Nike officially released its Air Max 1 “Athletic Department.”
The newest iteration of the classic silhouette is crafted with a white mesh base, while smooth nubuck leather overlays in grey and deep blue add a pop of color. A matching blue nubuck swoosh lands on the panel, while additional branding can be found on the white and green tongue tag, special Nike Athletic Department insoles, embroidered Nike Air heel logo an embroidered check by the toebox. An aged, yellowed midsole offers a vintage look to the model and is completed with a visible Air Max bubble unit, allowing it to rest on a black outsole.
