Detailed Look at the Nike Kobe 8 Protro "Hollywood Nights"

Nike Basketball and Vanessa Bryant are revealing more colorways for the Nike Kobe 8 Protro. Ahead of its release later this year, the basketball silhouette surfaces in a “Hollywood Nights” colorway, reminiscent of the Los Angeles Lakers colorway. The standout iteration pays homage to Kobe Bryant‘s legacy with the team.
The shoe is constructed in full black mesh upper that features snakeskin-like patterns on the edge of the midsole. Black leather highlights the tongue that complements the university gold embroidered Swoosh on the medial and Kobe Bryant’s signature on the heel counter. To give it the Lakers’ touch, court purple acents the branding on the heel tabs and tongues. The shoe sits atop a black reach cushioned midsole and white rubber outsole to round out the design.
