Louis Vuitton has lifted the veil on its newest collectible: the VIA Varsity Jacket, a digital iteration of the physical silhouette that appeared on the House’s Fall/Winter 2024 men’s runway for the brand earlier this year. The design marks the first ready-to-wear piece designed by Pharrell to become available for VIA, Louis Vuitton’s “Treasure Trunk” that offers web3 fashionphiles the opportunity to “purchase exclusive products, whether digital or phygital,” and access to “privileged experiences.”

The collectible is specifically reserved for owners of the VIA Treasure Trunk, which is only available to purchase by registering for the brand’s waiting list and meeting its crypto eligibility requirements. At launch last summer, Louis Vuitton stated that the Trunks are limited to quantities of “a few hundred pieces,” and they are retailing for the eye-boggling price tag of almost $42,000 USD.

This latest digital collectible pays homage to Pharrell’s real-life varsity jacket that’s set to hit shelves next season. Galvanized by Western design codes, the leather silhouette includes suede buckskin, supple sleeves and iridescent snap fastenings in a VVN colorway.

The VIA Varsity Jacket, which will be limited to just 200 units, will be available for purchase on April 22 for an impressive €7,900 EUR (or $8,418 USD). See the design above.
