Drain Gang Reunite for TL;DR Music Video

The journey of Drain Gang (formerly known as Gravity Boys Shield Gang) has been nothing short of magical. Bladee, Ecco2k, Thaiboy Digital and Whitearmor have triumphed as pioneers of the underground music scene for over a decade now, pushing the boundaries of everything from cloud rap to synthpop with their always-ethereal sound. The Swedish collective’s three vocalists most recently appeared on Varg²™’s Nordic Flora Series, Pt. 6: Outlaw Music and have now reconnected with Drain Gang’s elusive producer Whitearmor for “TL;DR.”

Unveiled during Thaiboy Digital’s recent performance at Genesys under his alter ego as DJ Billybool, the accompanying music video for “TL;DR” revisits that night with the trio of Bladee, Ecco2k and Thaiboy Digital sharing the stage. The Whitearmor-produced track leads with a menacing instrumental that is quickly joined by grim verses offered from the trio. Ecco2k notably reminisces on his past work with references to two fan favorite tracks of his — “GT-R” and “Peroxide” — while the others embrace the dark atmosphere that the beat serves.
