Following Lady Gaga’s residency on the virtual game’s main stage, Billie Eilish is slated to be the next headliner of Fortnite Festival, beginning April 23. The Happier Than Ever vocalist confirmed the news on Monday, posting an image of her in-game skin to X, with the caption: “Fortnite Festival Main Stage: 4.23.24.”

Eilish’s Fornite appearance has been rumored for several years, and Epic Games has finally put fan speculation to rest. The developer reshared the singer’s post, though it did not provide additional information regarding what to expect from Eilish’s main stage event.

Based on previous headlining acts, it’s expected that the award-winning vocalist’s songs will be playable in Fortnite Festival mode and that the neon green skin that was shared on social media will pop up in the Fortnite shop

Fortnite Festival is a rhythm-based gameplay embedded within the larger Fortnite universe, thanks to Rock Band studio Harmonix. The title launched in 2023 in tandem with Lego Fortnite, as part of Epic’s move to build out stronger independent products within its flagship game. Eilish will be the latest big-name artist to grace Fortnite Festival‘s main stage, following The Weeknd and Lady Gaga.
