In celebration of the Dutch holiday Koningsdag, which sees April 27 marks the monarch’s birthday and the streets throughout the Netherlands riddled with citizens in orange attire, Nike has released a shoe commemorating King’s Day.

The Nike Air Max 1 receives a “King’s Day” colorway that sees the iconic silhouette arrive in a cacao wow, bright mandarin, amber brown, monarch and Earth tones. The shoe is constructed out of premium materials, boasting a mesh upper featuring various leather, suede and tumbled leather overlays throughout. The heel is highlighted with canvas and woodgrain-patterned textile accents while the tongue tags are in velcro. The shoe sits atop a brown midsole and its signature Air Max units. Rounding out the design is a rubber outsole.

Look out for the Nike Air Max 1 “King’s Day” arriving in Spring 2024 at select retailers and online at Nike for $140 USD.
