Matt Champion Joins Forces With BLACKPINK's Jennie on New Single "Slow Motion"
Marking his third release this year.
Matt Champion enlisted BLACKPINK‘s own Jennie for their first collab, “Slow Motion.”
Clocking in at two minutes and 45 seconds, the drum and bass cut is produced by Dijon, Henry Kwapis and Champion himself. The track follows the BROCKHAMPTON’s staples recent slew of releases, which include “Aphid” with Dijon and “Slug,” and opens with Jennie softly singing over a piano backdrop before the briefly rhythm kicks in and fades out again. Champion also delivers his own vocals, tying in with the melodic sound of his latest drops.
On Apple Music, it was revealed that Champion will be releasing his debut full-length effort, Mika’s Laundry on March 22. The 13-track album will feature “Aphid,” “Slug” and “Slow Motion.”
