Y-3 and Real Madrid Team Up for Collaborative Travel Collection
With a campaign starring Naomie Feller, Jude Bellingham, David Alaba, Misa Rodríguez and Zinedine Zidane.
Aside from its own offerings, Y-3 has an affinity for sports collaborations. So to expand that part of its portfolio, it has linked up with Real Madrid for a collaborative travel collection.
The new collaboration continues the relationship between the entities as Y-3 recently celebrated the football club’s 12oth anniversary with a special kit. In the spirit of travel, the new collaboration taps into the personalities of Yohji Yamamoto’s level and the Spanish football club – blending elements of sportswear and sleekly avant-garde style. As such, the wardrobe sees a lineup of pieces that span tailoring and athleticwear like a coach jacket, a faux leather jacket, polos, track pants and shorts.
The range lends itself to Y-3’s monochromatic style and appears completely in black. Alongside their sportswear fabrications, the pieces are finished off with collaborative Y-3 and Real Madrid details like the designer’s handwritten signature and the team’s crest across the chest, arms and wrists. If you take a close look, you’ll find Jude Bellingham, Naomie Feller, David Alaba, Misa Rodríguez and Zinedine Zidane donning the pieces in the campaign.
The new Y-3 x Real Madrid travel collection is set to release worldwide on March 8 in-store at adidas, in Real Madrid stores, on adidas’ website and on Real Madrid’s website.
