John Mayer has already been a brand ambassador for renowned watch brand, Audemars Piguet. But now the two entities are deepening their relationship with a Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar collaboration.

The limited edition timepiece sees Audemars’ signature octagonal shape in white gold across the entire body and strap and is comprised of 200 pieces. But perhaps the most striking feature is the watch’s blue “Crystal Sky” faceted dial. “The brass dial plate is finished with a new scintillating pattern…composed of irregular shapes resembling crystals, whose sharp angles and facets add relief and brilliance to the piece,” said the brand. Particularly impressive, the face gives the illusion of unique crystals or some other gemstone, when it is in fact, brass.

Additionally, the watch sees the classic 41mm diameter x 9.5mm size and is powered by a Caliber 5134 movement. Other features throughout include the three sub-dials, sapphire caseback and silver indices alongside its brushed and polished white gold surfaces. A testament to Audemars Piguet’s fusion of timeless class, contemporary charm and eye-catching collaborations, the watch is priced at $180,700 USD.
