COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT Outfits the ASICS GEL-TERRAIN
Presenting the new silhouette in all-black and all-white colorways.
Known for putting an irreverent spin on fashion staples, COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT is back with another collaboration starring ASICS footwear. The duo closed out their run in 2023 by outfitting the EX89 in two colorways featuring red, white and blue. Now, it’s time for them to take on the newly-introduced GEL-TERRAIN.
Sticking to tried-and-true monochromatic makeovers of all-black and all-white, the COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT x ASICS GEL-TERRAIN emphasizes the silhouette’s key details. This time around, these elements range from FLYTEFOAM cushioning to a special toggle lacing system. Tonal co-branding is subtly included at the tongue while the logo lock-up similarly appears at the sockliner, though with contrast served up by each colorway’s opposite hue.
At the time of writing, a worldwide launch for these two COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT x ASICS GEL-TERRAIN colorways has not been announced. However, pairs have started to appear via select retailers such as ref., where the black colorway is available in limited sizing now at a price of ¥46,200 JPY (approx. $312 USD).
