HUMAN MADE Launches "Prototype" Line
An Otsumo Plaza-exclusive, “Prototype” is set to arrive in four parts.

HUMAN MADE has launched its latest futuristic foray: the “Prototype” line. The new line continues to expand upon NIGO‘s “The Future is in the Past” mantra and will be available exclusively at Toyko’s Otsumo Plaza.
Prototype features a VERDY-curated logo and focuses on offering a contrast to HUMAN MADE’s surplus of graphic styles. ”Prototype is a new project that takes a fresh look at Human Made and NIGO’s production concept, ‘The Future is in the Past,’ redefining it from today’s perspective,” the brand wrote on its website.
“This project, which will be divided into four parts, incorporates a simple logo design designed by VERDY, and has a lineup of basic real clothes that stand out from the graphic impression.”
The first Prototype drop spans seven pieces and sees the line establish its aesthetic. Military styles stand out amidst the earthy capsule, with Hooded Blouson jackets and military jackets and vests equipped with ample pocketing and zippers. HUMAN MADE still stamps its logo on the Prototype pieces, landing on the chest and back of each silhouette.
Elsewhere, knit sweaters and sweatshirts feature typical HUMAN MADE branding including hearts logos and, on the sweatshirts “The Future is in the Past.” Rounding out the range comes a pair of Military Chino Pants.
Check out the first Protoype collection in the gallery above, and get your hands on a piece beginning this Saturday, March 9, exclusively available at Otsumo Plaza. Entry to the plaza will be determined via a lottery system. Visit HUMAN MADE’s website for more details.
