Netflix Shares First Official Trailer for ‘Physical: 100 Season 2 - Underground’

Netflix has revealed the official trailer for Physical: 100 Season 2 – Underground.

First aired in January 2023, the South Korean fitness survival reality show quickly gained positive reception both locally and overseas for its inaugural season. Despite its global success, controversies and scandals revolving around some of the contestants were in circulation after last season’s finale went live.

The competition returns with 100 new contestants who will be going head-to-head against one another in a series of new physical challenges until one is crowned with the ideal human physique. The large-scale set now takes on an underground mine theme, featuring both brand-new and improved areas for the quests.

Quest 0, the preliminary segment of the show featured a grueling “Hanging Challenge” in the last season, where all contestants were ranked based on how long they could hold up while hanging from a metal frame. The new season appears to feature a whole new preliminary challenge where it requires all participating contestants to race against a countdown timer on treadmills.
