Amazon MGM Studios Acquires New Thriller Starring Kim Kardashian
The reality star and businesswoman will also produce, while Natalie Krinsky will write.
Amazon MGM Studios emerged victorious in a bidding war for a new film involving Kim Kardashian and Natalie Krinsky.
According to Deadline, the upcoming title is a thriller written by Natalie Krinsky of Gossip Girl and Grey’s Anatomy fame, while Kardashian will star and produce. Not much is known about the film as of writing, but sources claim that it was “developed specifically for Kardashian.” A release window is yet to be announced.
This deal marks Kardashian’s second successful agreement since the end of the SAG-AFTRA strike; in late November, Netflix acquired the comedy The Fifth Wheel which will also see her star in and produce. The reality star and businesswoman also recently announced that she will be executive producing the three-part BBC documentary, Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar. She was the last person who conducted an interview with Taylor before her passing, and will speak about her relationship with the late actress.
