Netflix Acquires Kim Kardashian's Upcoming Comedy 'The Fifth Wheel'
The reality star and businesswoman will produce and star in the film.
Netflix officially acquired the upcoming comedy The Fifth Wheel, which is produced by and will star Kim Kardashian.
The streamer was reportedly embroiled in a bidding war against theatrical distributors and other streamers, however two of the five companies pulled out of the competition at the last minute prior to Kardashian and co-writers Paula Pell and Janine Brito signing the agreement with Netflix. The Fifth Wheel will feature a female ensemble cast, however the plot details and main cast are yet to be announced.
Kardashian may primarily be known as a reality star and businesswoman, but she took a serious foray into acting this year. She took on a lead role in Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story: Delicate, portraying the role of entertainment agent Siobhan Corbyn.
