Bentley and The Macallan Unveil Limited-Edition Whisky: The Macallan Horizon
Presented in a bespoke glass container wrapped in an aluminum ribbon and encased in a chestnut-colored, low-carbon leather.
In a blend of traditional craftsmanship and avant-garde technology, Bentley and The Macallan have launched The Macallan Horizon, a rare, limited edition, single malt Scotch whisky — a collaboration first introduced by the two in 2022. Celebrating The Macallan’s bicentenary, this collaboration is designed to set a new standard in the convergence of automotive excellence and exquisite whisky-making.
The Macallan Horizon, in a statement of innovation, is presented in a horizontal vessel with a 180-degree twist, reflecting the Bentley’s expansive horizons. This unique vessel incorporates six materials, including a bespoke glass container wrapped in an aluminum ribbon and encased in a chestnut-colored, low-carbon leather sculpture. A recycled copper frame, oak wood inlay and Bentley’s Crown Cut Walnut veneer complete the vessel, showcasing a blend of tradition and modernity.
Master Whisky Maker Kirsteen Campbell has meticulously blended this exclusive single malt from six first-fill sherry seasoned oak casks, each contributing unique characteristics. The result is a whisky with rich dried fruit and spice flavors, balanced with notes of oak and leather, mirroring Bentley’s luxurious interiors.
