Crenshaw Skate Club Links Up With Los Angeles Landmark Randy's Donuts For A Tasty Capsule
Serving up a capsule of tees and skate decks.
On the heels of last month’s revival of its core classics – which came complete with a classically Los Angeles lookbook – Crenshaw Skate Club is serving up another nostalgic ode to its home base. For this capsule, the skatewear imprint has joined hands with another SoCal staple, Randy’s Donuts, to pay homage to the lore of LA.
Catalyzed from a personal connection to the eatery, the collection consists of four graphic tees and skate decks, with each of the graphics hand-drawn by the Crenshaw team. As for the lookbook, models flexed the cartoonish graphics atop Randy’s iconic giant donut.
“This collaboration holds a special place in our hearts, evoking memories of weekend trips to Randy’s with our families,” the brand shared in a press release. “This tradition has deeply ingrained itself in our childhood. Randy’s Donuts is more than just a donut shop; it’s a landmark etched in the landscape of LA culture, instantly recognizable by its monumental donut on top of the shop.”

“When I was a kid going to Randy’s, I never thought I would collaborate with them one day or climb up on the roof and see the iconic donut so close up,” Tobey McIntosh, who shows out for the shoot, conveyed in a statement.
“Being able to bring important parts of my childhood into the evolving story of Crenshaw Skate Club has been a goal of mine since the inception of the brand, and I hope to continue to do so as the brand grows.”
Prices range from $38 to $55 USD.
