SZA Teases New Track From Forthcoming ‘Lana’ LP
Following last month’s “Saturn” release.
Fans of SZA have been eagerly anticipating her Lana album, the follow up to 2022’s SOS. The singer initially said that the project would be released in late 2023 but the LP never materialized.
In the meantime, SZA has teamed up with Drake, Jean Dawson and Justin Bieber, featuring on their singles. She also dropped “Saturn” last month, sharing five different versions of the song, from a live recording to an instrumental.
The singer has now returned to preview another track, potentially from Lana. In the grainy video, SZA emerges from a camping tent, singing, “F*** around and die over community d***/ Never fight over community d***.”
Like many of her releases, it seems to be a seductive, R&B track. SZA didn’t share when the song would be out or when Lana is expected to drop.
Many fans were initially expecting a deluxe version of SOS but it appears that Lana will be released – when it eventually arrives – as more of a standalone album.
