Official Imagery of the Air Jordan 9 Golf "True Red"
With more colorways expected to drop in the coming months.
The beginning months of the year always provide a clue as to Jordan Brand‘s plans for the seasons ahead, and in 2024 the Nike sub-label is reviving one of its fan favorite silhouettes with golfers in mind. Official imagery of the new AJ9 G “True Red” has landed just days after professional golfer Pat Perez wore the pair in competition.
The Jordan 9s have been retrofitted for the golf course before, but the latest iteration sees Jordan switch out the running midsole for a mold that more closely matches the basketball version. In that sense, the conversion mirrors the Air Jordan 6 Low G which made its return to the golf market last February with the iconic “White Infrared” colorway. This time around, classic AJ9 “True Red” colorway is reproduced to a tee, albeit with a glossier black mudguard. Underfoot you’ll find removable spikes matched with a TPU traction pattern to maintain grip on the fairways.
A release date can be expected in the coming weeks at a retail price of $230 USD, and expect both core and limited colorways to come to the fore as the golf season progresses.
