Although Jane Wade is still a new name in the fashion world, she has the attitude and confidence of a veteran – sure in what she wants to do, but also savvy enough to keep evolving. Hailing from the Pacific Northwest, Jane Wade launched her eponymous label in 2022. Just that fast she’s become a New York Fashion Week name – presenting off the calendar last year and making her official NYFW debut for the Fall/Winter 2024 season.

For her new collection, Wade dives deeper into her signature aesthetic that evolves corporate, utilitarian and workwear styles. Specifically, this time around Wade showcased those versatile intricacies with a heavier sportswear-leaning edge (a nod to her gorp style upbringing). To keep the ball rolling even further, Wade also teamed up with Salomon again, where an array of gear, footwear and accessories completed the looks.

Inside you’ll find a little bit of everything. A casual cotton dress in deep technical stone may be paired with blue-hued Salomon Sportstyle shoes, socks and a deep sea blue running pack. You may also come across a beige and cream cotton coordinating set for post-activity lounging moments or even a hybridized slate gray dress crafted from leather, crochet and metal. Harping on her evolved corporate wear cadence, sleek suiting in workwear fabrications cinched waist components blend notes of class, function and allure.

“This work is a huge reflection of who I am and my path,” said Wade. “I study clothes from a modular perspective, so this season I wanted to continue pushing the envelope. I try to look at garments from a genderless perspective in addition to my womenswear category, so this collection pushes that identity.”

To that note, Wade specifically expanded outerwear for the season with a convertible design approach. A jacket may have the perfect masculine and rigged edge for a guy, but can then be zipped apart and transformed into a skirt for a womenswear-oriented style.

Through it all, Wade revealed a commitment to continuously bringing her definition of newness to hybridized dressing. Take a look at Jane Wade’s FW24 collection in the gallery above.
