Adam Sandler Set to Release a New Netflix Comedy Special
Directed by Josh Safdie.
Adam Sandler is set to have a new comedy special at Netflix. This time around, Josh Safdie will be directing the special. In the past, Safdie and Sandler worked on the 2019 film Uncut Gems.
The special is currently untitled but it will be his second one on Netflix as a follow up to his 2018 set, 100% Fresh which also scored 90% on Rotten Tomatoes. Not much is known about this special but Sandler’s relationship with Netflix continues to grow with each project. He is set to appear in another Netflix film next month, titled Spaceman which sees him take on a more dramatic sci-fi role. Other Netflix projects with Sandler include Murder Mystery, Leo and Sandy Wexler.
Safdie and Sandler also worked together on a 2020 short film titled Goldman v. Silverman. Sandler is also set to lead another feature by Safdie and his brother Benny regarding the world of sports memorabilia. Stay tuned for more information regarding Sandler’s new Netflix comedy special.
