Update: It’s been a week since we first took a look at CNCPTS’ latest New Balance collaboration and the brand has now officially announced that the 740 “Saignée” will be dropping this week. The orange and green rendition of the sneaker is said to be inspired by “Saignée” — a unique approach to producing rosé champagne. “The season is filled with celebration and no shortage of champagne being poured, so for us we wanted to bring that same vibrant spirit and mix of details to the design of the 740,” shares Deon Point, CNCPTS’ creative director. It is set to drop on December 13 via CNCPTS’ flagship stores located in Boston, Miami and New York City, as well as via the brand’s website.
Original Story: Following the reveal of the ASICS GEL-KAYANO-14 “OOO” collab, CNCPTS has now revealed a New Balance 740 partnership. Building on its tech runner offerings, the new collaboration sees a gradient mesh base that sees a light green transition into a dark green from heel to toe. Instagram @arab_lincoln was the first to showcase the upcoming release. The shoe’s overlays hit the toe and quarter section in a light grey while green and orange tints hit the extended heel panel. Sitting atop a set of cork insoles, the shoe retro running model also has a vibrant orange tongue to complement the matching “N” logo on the medial. Look out for the pair arriving in the coming months.
