Packer Revives the adidas Intimidation Low
The duo has put together two colorways of the 1999 basketball silhouette after bringing back its mid-cut counterpart last year.
With over a decade of collaborating together, Packer and adidas remain resolute in their journey of bringing fresh energy to the footwear scene. The duo did so last year by not only debuting the new Crazy IIInfinity, but via a collaboration featuring the return of the FYW Intimidation. As the silhouette celebrates its 25th anniversary, the two have decided to bring back the low-top version of the sneaker as well.
Teased by Packer brand director Victor Kan, two colorways of the Packer x adidas Intimidation Low are expected to drop this year. Both pairs see a lower cut applied to the sneaker, removing the raised collar segment in favor of a sleeker structure. The wavy tooling of the upper returns to each side of the shoe alongside the sole unit shape (originally from the KB8 3) that Ye used for the YEEZY 500. Its color arrangements include gradients across the upper that go from gray to blue for one and light to dark gray on another.
At the time of writing, neither Packer nor adidas have confirmed any of the campaign’s release specifics. However, Kan did note that the project will arrive for Fall/Winter 2024 so stay tuned for updates as we expect both pairs to be made available by the end of the year via Packer.
