The Overwatch 2 x Avatar: The Last Airbender Collaboration Has Arrived
With skins inspired by the animated series’ core characters Aang, Katara, Zuko, Appa, and more.
The elemental powers of Avatar: The Last Airbender have come to life in Overwatch 2 with new integrations and skins enabling the forceful art of Water, Earth, Fire, and Air bending. Offering a fresh lineup of in-game cosmetics and adventures the collaboration celebrates the “unstoppable power of teamwork” embodied by the 2005-born animated series.
Starting December 17, players can access new Avatar-inspired powers through Overwatch’s dynamic gameplay. The animated series’ core characters appear with Zenyatta as avatar Aang, Mei as water-bender Katara, Orisa as flying bison Appa, Genji as fire prince Zuko, and more. Along with event challenges, which allow players to unlock new skins, players can earn themed sprays, voice lines, and player icons to further immerse in the lore of the Four Nations.
Building upon previous integrations with animated series like One Punch Man and My Hero Academia, Overwatch’s parent Blizzard Entertainment has continued to expand the game’s reach with cross-universe collaborations.
The Overwatch 2 x Avatar: The Last Airbender Collaboration will be available to play from December 17 – 30.
