HEAD Announces First-Ever Golf Apparel Collection

HEAD, the American-born sportswear brand known for its performance skiing and tennis equipment, has just announced its entry into another pastime characterized by individualism and self-expression: golf. Since 1950 HEAD has sought to pursue innovation in a range of racquet and winter sports, and under creative director Ka Ho Kam the brand presents a modern interpretation on golf apparel highlighted by sustainability and quality. Meanwhile, for aesthetic inspiration, Kam looked to an area of the world where golf is perennially popular: the scenic and arid American Southwest.

Seeking a healthy balance between patterns and textures, HEAD GOLF has placed function above all else, reflecting Kam’s appreciation for technical fabrics. All-in-all there are four textiles which HEAD is highlighting with the release of its first golf collection. Stay Cool is a proprietary blend offering moisture wicking and UV protection, Breathe Easy is supremely lightweight and breathable, Power Stretch is geared for mobility and Heritage Knit marries vintage quality with modern function.

“This collection isn’t just about what you wear on the course—it’s about a lifestyle,” said Ka Ho Kam. “We wanted to create pieces that seamlessly transition from office to fairway, blending performance with style.” Performance polos with body mapping detailing and striped track pants anchor the men’s selection, while the women’s range is defined by knit sweater polos and a seasonal desert pattern. Pricing sits between $35 USD for accessories and $105 USD for clothing staples. The collection will be available for purchase January 15, 2025 on HEAD GOLF‘s website.
