Prime Video Drops First Teaser for 'Invincible' Season Three
Also announcing the premiere date of the upcoming season.
Prime Video has debuted the first teaser for the upcoming third season of Invincible.
The two-and-a-half-minute teaser sees Cecil, the head of the Global Defense Agency, grilling Mark Grayson/Invincible about how he’s been training since the vicious attack of the Viltrumites at the end of season two. It starts off in quite a meta way, with the show’s creative team inserting details about how they’ve been busy working on the script, designs, storyboards, key posing and voice acting — even showing a brief clip of Steven Yeun, the voice actor of Mark, recording his lines.
Cecil is evidently not impressed with the teenage superhero’s lack of preparation for the impending war, and orders him to formally begin his training with the agency. The teaser ends with the official announcement of a February 6, 2025 premiere date for season three, and the confirmation that there will not be a mid-season break this time around.
Season two (spoilers ahead for those who are yet to catch up) followed Mark as he further navigates the balance of saving the world from the Viltrumite invasion and being a young man, as well as his attempt to accept that his father, Nolan/Omni-Man, has found a new family on another planet.
