Is there anything that the Nike Air Force 1 can’t do? The 42-year-old silhouette has stomped its way to the top of Nike’s lifestyle category as a budget-friendly, versatile style that has been remixed in countless ways.
While it may be a familiar shape, the Swoosh continues to reimagine it with upcoming drops including a “Halloween” pair with a skull-shaped toe box, a “Year of the Snake” pair that celebrates the upcoming Lunar New Year and even a new skate-oriented version of the model: the Air Force 1 SK8. As the sneaker remains a focal point in the sneaker world, it has now been spotted in a new carbon fiber construction. The upper is wrapped entirely in the stiff material while being covered in black from the Air-backed sole unit to the collar.
At the time of writing, Nike has not yet announced when this carbon fiber-equipped take on the all-black Air Force 1 Low will be dropping. Stay tuned for updates as it’s likely to land on shelves soon via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a currently unknown price point.
