Gunna Reminds Us It's Been "HIM ALL ALONG"
Marking his first solo release since ‘One of Wun.’
Gunna has shared his first solo single since One of Wun‘s May release. “HIM ALL ALONG” arrived as a surprise last night, with Gunna announcing the track’s imminent release just a few hours prior to its drop.
“HIM ALL ALONG” comes equipped with production from Turbo, proving the two, once again, to be one of the most locked in rapper-production duos in the current hip-hop space. Gunna is speaking his mind on the track, not backing down from bold claims and quips.
“Smash all you itty-bitty rappers in a minute, I was tryna prolong (Tryna prolong) / On the way to reachin’ my goals, lot of doors open and close (Open and close),” he spits on the first verse. “I’ve been spendin’ millions on clothes, I been makin’ millions off clothes (Millions off clothes) / Stackin’ new money to old, garments stay vintage and old (Vintage and old).”
Since One of Wun’s release, Gunna has exclusively hopped on other rapper’s tracks, showing out on iDK‘s “TiFFANY,” “Style Rare” with Offset, Toosii‘s “Champs Élysées” and The Kid LAROI‘s “BABY I’M BACK” remix.
