LUAR x Moose Knuckles Is Here at Last
After making its debut on the runway back in February, the four-piece capsule is now available for purchase.
LUAR and Moose Knuckles‘ debut joint offering turned heads from the get-go, making its world premiere on LUAR’s Fall/Winter 2024 “Deceptionista” runway back in February. With the cold weather (hopefully) coming soon, the striking unisex capsule from the first-time collaborators can now be yours.
Moose Knuckles reworks four of LUAR’s signature silhouettes through its functional lense, the garments a bomber jacket, a cocoon parka, a Mongolian shawl and a skull hat. Both the bomber and cocoon parka appear in all-black nylon and leather versions. A medium-weight, light down-filled jacket, the cocoon parka comes complete with a detachable Mongolian sheepskin collar and can be elevated with the Mongolian shawl. As for the bomber, the jacket is also down-filled and defined by its curved lines throughout.
The duo also worked on two collaborative takes on LUAR’s circular-handled Brooke Tote, which surfaces engulfed in all-black nylon and Mongolian sheepskin.
“It’s so exciting to be working with a brand that champions innovation, technology, and design. Those themes are always at the forefront throughout my design process, making this partnership feel so organic,” said LUAR founder and designer, Raul Lopez.
“I deeply respect Raul’s vision, and it has been a treat to witness what he has built with LUAR,” adds Carlos Nazario, Moose Knuckles’ global artistic director. “Growing up in this industry together, it was a natural choice to collaborate with him, my chosen family. The beauty of the collaboration comes to life through our shared experiences, and I am thrilled to finally marry the Moose Knuckles and LUAR communities.”
