Oakley's New Hybrid Goggles Are Designed to Ski-In and Ski-Out
The “Flex Scape” employs PhysioMorphic™ Geometry, an optical technology that allows lenses to adapt to their wearer’s face to form a mask with a wider field of view.
Fresh off the launch of its “Born to Rewild” collection, Oakley has returned with its latest innovation: Flex Scape, the label’s first-ever hybrid goggle that fuses the functionality of goggles and sunglasses to enhance bluebird mountain days and après-ski fêtes alike.
The versatile eyewear design employs Oakley’s PhysioMorphic™ Geometry, an optical technology that allows lenses to adapt to their wearer’s face to create a mask that offers a wider field of view. Notably, the design flaunts a one-size woven strap (which can be interchanged with ear stems) that reads the brand’s name in bold font.
Equipped with an anti-fog coating that reduces distortion, reflection and refraction, the model’s single-layer lens provides ample protection during the day’s brightest points. Additionally, the lens is built with Oakley’s Plutonite® material and HDO® (High-Definition Optics) Technology, which offer 100% UV protection and defense from high-impact collisions.
“Having eyewear that flexes from the mountains to the streets is a game-changer,” said Team Oakley athlete Lucas Pinheiro Braathen. “This is the level of innovation that sets Oakley apart in a dynamic piece that looks dope and that suits my lifestyle from air to après.”
Oakley’s Flex Scape hybrid goggles are now available to shop in Matte Black with Prizm™ 24K and Matte Grey Snow with Prizm™ Snow Sapphire Iridium online and in Oakley stores. Take a closer look at the lineup in the gallery above.
