Eminem Reveals Emotional "Temporary" Music Video
Sharing that he’ll soon be a grandpa.
Eminem has taken to his craft to reveal some big news. In his latest music video – for The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce) track “Temporary” featuring Skylar Grey – Eminem shares that his daughter Hailie Jade is pregnant and that he’ll soon be a grandfather.
“A lot of people ask me am I afraid of death? The truth is, I think what scares me the most is not being able to say all the things I wanna say to you when I’m no longer here. So this song is for Hailie, for when that day comes,” Eminem opens the introspective cut.
The visual opens with a collection of old photos of Hailie, transitioning into old home videos. Recent footage begins to trickle in, including footage of Hailie and Em from Hailie’s wedding this past May.
Toward the end of the music video, Hailie gives her dad a Detroit Lions jersey with “Grandpa” written on the back along with a photo of her ultrasound.
