Y-3's Chapter 4 Collection Captures the Three Stripes in Motion for FW24
The line, which marks the final installment in the fusion label’s FW24 collection, is built for the streets of New York City.
Y-3’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection is a love letter to New York City, the metropolis in which the worldly brand — a collaboration between the German sportswear giant adidas and designer Yohji Yamamoto, who splits his time between Tokyo and Paris — got its start on the runway in the 2010s. After dropping off the line’s campaign, shot by Max Vadukul (the lensman behind the label’s earliest New York collections), earlier this summer, Y-3 has returned to launch the final installment in this season’s offering, titled “Chapter 4.”
The collection houses several luxe wool silhouettes for the colder months, including graphic knit cardigans and crew sweatshirts with engineered bird motifs. Elsewhere, padded jackets, puffer vests and nylon shell coats prioritize warmth with Yamamoto’s signature Japaense flair, while running tees, leggings and shorts tap into adidas’ sports culture — all ideal options for stomping, strutting or jogging through NYC’s busy streets.
In the footwear domain, Y-3 presents the Y-3 SUPERSTAR, which appears in two tonal colorways — “Shadow Red” and “Black — on a soft leather upper, lining and shell toe. Additionally, the line includes the Y-3 KYASU OVERBOOT, which was first introduced on Yohji Yamamoto’s Fall/Winter 2023 runway and features an outer premium leather shell and an inner suede mule build.
Y-3’s Chapter 4 collection is now available to shop on the brand’s webstore, with prices ranging from $35 USD to $1,100 USD. Take a look at the lineup in the gallery above.
