New York Sushi Club Serves Up Apparel Capsule and Nike Collab
Featuring a club members-only “Sushi Force One” sneaker.
Chris Stamp and Nobu Matsuhisa‘s Sushi Club has lifted the veil on its next New York City course. The New York Sushi Club chapter of the duo’s global Sushi Club endeavor is celebrating 30 years of Matsuhisa’s Nobu restaurant, serving up an apparel capsule and special-edition “Sushi Force One” Air Force 1 sneaker with Nike in homage to the high-bar imprint.
Leading the delivery is a sleek all-black Letterman jacket, adorned with New York Sushi Club patches throughout. Crafted from wool, the jacket sees contrasting leather sleeves, custom jacquard ribbing around the collar, cuf, and hem, and black tonal rubber snaps down the front of the silhouette.
Elsewhere in the apparel range, New York Sushi Club presents another cotton t-shirt with the club’s logo printed on the chest and in oversized print on the back.
Nike steps in on the commemorative collection with the Sushi Force 1. While a Friends and Family release only, the all-white sneaker continues the minimalistic design style seen on the apparel, hit with subtle New York Sushi Club branding on the midsole and insole, as well as a 30-year-anniversary Nobu logo on the inside of the tongue.
Peep the collection above and cop a piece of the apparel range at the New York Sushi Club pop-up this weekend only, taking place at the Perrotin Gallery store at the below address.
