KAYTRANADA and Childish Gambino Get "Witchy" in New Visual
The first official music video lifted from the producer’s ‘TIMELESS’ LP.
After revealing last week that the “Witchy” music video was arriving “very soon,” KAYTRANADA has followed through. One of TIMELESS’ standout cuts, “Witchy” features vocals from Childish Gambino, who also stars in the official Bethany Vargas-directed visual.
Both suited up in custom Gucci, KAYTRANADA and Gambino enter a small recording studio as a white cat crosses their path. KAYTRANADA opens his briefcase to get out his mixing equipment while Gambino stands at the microphone singing the lyrics. Across the way, a supernatural-looking sorceress begins to mirror Gambino’s movements, with KAYTRANADA eventually departing his mixers and falling under her spell as well.
The “Witchy” visual – which marks the first official music video from Kay’s TIMELESS project – arrives as both of the track’s artists finish their respective tours. KAYTRANADA finds himself amidst his TIMELESS Tour, which closes out in early November, while Gambino recently postponed the latter part of his Bando Stone & The New World Tour.
