FIFA Is Putting Out a Fashion Line in Partnership With VFILES
The debut ready-to-wear collection is expected to arrive in Spring 2025.
FIFA will be teaming up with VFILES for a ready-to-wear collection under a new brand. Named after the year the soccer league was founded in Paris, the label is called FIFA 1904.
The streetwear collection will offer both menswear and womenswear, blending influences from football and fashion. The garments are described as blending “professional chic” with streetwear.
In 2012, VFILES was launched by Julie Anne Quay, who has a stake in Barnsley Football Club, and Leonardo Lawson as a fashion label and platform. The company has since pivoted to largely operating as a non-profit for underrepresented creatives.
“As a member of the Academic Board of the FIFA Diploma in Club Management and a Director/co-owner of Barnsley Football Club, I have had a front-row seat to football in many aspects,” Quay said.
“There is a certain style in football from the executives to the players and FIFA 1904 covers the need for aspirational chic, stylish, and versatile clothing that caters to the demands of their professional lifestyles. This will inspire the creation, style, look, and feel of the FIFA 1904 collection.”
The debut FIFA 1904 by VFILES collection is expected to arrive in Spring 2025.
