Ab-Soul Continues 'Soul Burger' Rollout With "Crazier"
The latest cut lifted from the rapper’s forthcoming mixtape features JID.

With Soul Burger‘s release date approaching, Ab-Soul continues to prep listeners for his first project in over two years. With singles “Squeeze 1st 2” and “All That” already out, the Top Dawg Entertainment heavy-hitter has unveiled his third and final pre-release single: “Crazier” featuring JID.
The just-under two-minute track kicks off with a verse from JID, who even makes reference to his time as a football athlete among his heat-packed bars.
“A n*gga born and raised here, a raisin in the sun / Cuttin’ up coke with a razor, it’s gettin’ crazier / The nasally Nas, but I’m more JAY-Z-er / Awkwardly walkin’ back on tracks like Ryan Shazier / Science is great, but God greater, more wavier.”
After the relatable and repetitive chorus – “By the day, it’s gettin’ crazier and crazier / And crazier, and crazier,” – Ab hops in for his solo verse, taking his wordplay to the next level.
“Extraordinary, the stupid genius, somebody call Keem / Phoenix out the ashes like they done cremated Joaquin.”
While Soul Burger‘s tracklist has yet to be unveiled, the mixtape is set to consist of fifteen tracks.
