Official Images of the Nike Dunk Low CO.JP "Ultraman"
The colorway originally dropped in ‘99 and will retro for the first time ever.

Update: Back in July of last year, it was revealed that Nike would be revisiting its Dunk Low CO.JP “Ultraman” alongside other pairs from the CO.JP series. Now, following the release of the “Reverse Curry” colorway, the “Ultraman” pair has been officially unveiled. It sticks to its “Metallic Silver” overlays and “Varsity Red” base arrangement in leather as a proper reproduction of the original. Release details have not yet been disclosed so stay tuned for updates as it’s likely to hit shelves in the coming weeks. For more info about the pair, review our previous coverage below.
Original Story: One way that Nike caters to Dunk enthusiasts both and old and new is by re-introducing a barrage of its classic and limited-edition colorways from the ’90s. And, per a report from Complex‘s Brendan Dunne, the Swoosh’s Sportswear division is slated to bring back a slew of its famed Dunk Low CO.JP series in 2024, one of which is the “Ultraman.”
Nike’s VNTG collection from 2011 introduced a “Metallic Silver” and “Varsity Red” colorway that was also inspired by the Japanese sci-fi character Ultraman from the 1960s – but the OG pair has never had an official retro release before. Early leaked images of the 2024 pair have yet to surface, but it’s likely that it will return with all of its throwback design cues. This means that the toe boxes, quarters and collars will be dripped out in a bold red hue while Swooshes and accompanying overlays will be dialed to a muted gray tone. Down below, the midsoles are dialed to a crisp white and come stacked above a full-length gray sole piece.
