Croc Leather Overlays Hit the Nike Dunk Low
Shining bright with a patent leather finish.

It may be a new year but for Nike, it’s continuing to use many of its old designs. With the Dunk Low, the Swoosh is capitalizing on what remains of the silhouette’s unprecedented demand across recent years. In doing so, various throwback looks such as 1999’s CO.JP “Ultraman” colorway are making a return alongside new pairs like the shaggy suede-covered “Photon Dust/Light Armory Blue.”
Now, Nike has switched up its material composition once again on the Dunk Low, utilizing a patent croc leather at its overlays in black. Its upper creates a “Panda”-esque finish with white contrast covering the leather base. Elsewhere, gold Nike branding appears at the tongue tag while its patent croc leather heel tab features a debossed tonal “NIKE” hit. Supporting the sneaker, an off-white stitched midsole rests atop a classic gum outsole to complete the new arrangement on the Dunk Low.
At the time of writing, Nike has not shared any release plans pertaining to this croc leather-equipped version of the Dunk Low. Stay tuned for updates regarding its rollout as it is likely to touch down on shelves in the coming weeks via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at an expected starting price of $120 USD.
